Santa Claus may be disguised as a police officer in city of Asotin
ASOTIN, WA - The Christmas spirit is alive and well in the city of Asotin, as one couples quest to give underprivileged children a nice Christmas has spread.

Asotin Police Officer Josh Allen and his wife went to give children at the Northwest Children's Home some presents, and their spirit was contagious. Now the whole Asotin Police Department is sponsoring the group homes toy drive for Christmas.

"One day I just made a bunch of boxes took them around town and I show up to work and there's stuff just piling up," said Allen. "So I really have never done a lot but you know the kids didn't ask to be put in that situation. So to me it's a good cause they don't really have a whole lot. So once a year if we can help them out, why not?

Asotin police will deliver the toys December 20th to the group home. They have drop off locations around town for anyone wanting to join in on the giving. You can bring items to Asotin City Hall, the Twin River Bank in Asotin, Potlatch Federal Credit Union, Clarkston Auto Sales and Station 3 Restaurant.
