LEWISTON - Lewis Clark Credit Union held a fundraiser Friday for the Children's Miracle Network and some local politicians got in on the action.

The event featured Nez Perce County commissioners Doug Zenner and Ron Wittman, along with commissioner candidate Pete Gertonson, and State Representatives John Rusche and Liz Chavez, all getting drenched by water balloons to raise money.

There was also a rock climbing wall run by the National Guard, music and food. By noon, they had already raised $3,000 for the charity.
