ASOTIN - A new trial date is set for a Clarkston man accused of Child Rape.

The trial of Rex Gregory was scheduled to begin Monday until his attorney, Richard Laws, became ill late last week. Gregory is facing a child rape charge along with 4 counts of child molestation in the first degree and 1 count of kidnapping with sexual motivation in Asotin County Superior Court. Deputy Prosecutor Kurt Liedkie tells Action News that Monday morning, the trial was rescheduled for the 22nd.
