SH 162 - A Spokane woman is killed in a single vehicle crash on State Highway 162 near Kamiah.

Idaho State Police responded to mile post 15 Sunday morning, just before 11:00. They said Sadie Burnett-Wagner was traveling south on the highway when she hit some loose gravel around a sharp left curve causing her to lose control and skid. ISP said she overcorrected, causing her car to go over an embankment on the east side of the road and hitting a pine tree. Burnett-Wagner died of injuries at the scene. She was wearing her seat belt. Idaho County, Lewis County, Nez Perce Tribal Police and Kamiah Ambulance assisted ISP at the scene.
