LEWISTON - Clearwater Paper Corp. posted fourth-quarter results Thursday, showing a net income of $47.2 million. That's compared to $1.7 million in the same quarter last year.

For the full year, the company made $182.5 million, up from $9.7 million in 2008, when the company was split off late in the year from Potlatch Corporation.

Much of the earnings come in the form of just over $47 million of pre-tax income in the fourth quarter from alternative fuel mixture tax credits.
