While the lobby was decked out in balloons and hearts, it wasn't an early Valentine's Day - it was the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women program.
Nationally, Jiffy Lube hopes to raise over $1.5 million. Along with the decorations inside, all the employees were wearing red dresses.
“Some were all for it, other guys were like are you serious? But overall we got a good response out of it. Everyone showed up this morning with their own red dresses. It's been fun," said Kallahan Zeigler, Jiffy Lube General Mgr.
Kallahan said most people were happy to donate three dollars - by three o'clock they had already raised about seventy dollars. He says he can't wait to do it again next year.
“Not only does it bring up the crew morale, but it brings the spirit up. It also brings awareness to the community and shows what our service is all about. It's all about customer service. It's all about taking care of the community. It's all about helping out as best we can.”
