CLARKSTON - Members of the Oregon National Guard were making history local Wednesday.

They have been giving presentations about the Lewis and Clark expedition this week to Clarkston fourth graders .

The lessons include replicas of equipment the explorers used and hands-on activities. \

At Grantham Wednesday, the kids were taught how to use a sextant, an old school GPS system that uses stars to locate a position.
