Prosecutors working with robbery suspect on plea deal

LEWISTON - Prosecutors say they are working out a plea agreement with Lewiston teen accused of an armed robbery.

18-year-old Levi Linton is as of now scheduled to stand trial for allegedly robbing two teenage females at gunpoint in early August.

That trial is set to start Monday.

But Nez Perce County Deputy Prosecutor Nancy Berger-Schneider said attorney's are working on a plea agreement. Linton is charged with Robbery and Attempted Robbery with an enhancement for use of a deadly weapon for allegedly holding a 410 shotgun to the head of an 18-year-old and demanding money and other valuables.

Linton's alleged accomplice, 19-year-old Kaleb Farmer, is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to Aiding and Abetting Robbery.
