MOSCOW - Moscow voters had two races they were deciding Tuesday.

The one for mayor featured incumbent Nancy Chaney facing current city council member John Weber.

Meanwhile there were six candidates running for three seats on the council, including incumbent Walter Steed, along with Scott Billing, Tim Brown, Dennis Deccio, Nels Reese and Sue Scott. UI student Autry White is a write-in candidate.

The voting was fairly slow here at the fairgrounds during the lunch hour. But you couldn't blame that on the weather, as the sun was shining down on this 2009 Election Day.
