ASOTIN – There is a lot of work to be done before the new Asotin County industrial park can be developed.

That was the word at Monday morning's Asotin County Commissioners meeting. Commission Chairman Don Brown said Port Manager Wanda Keefer, along with Public Works Director Joel Ristau, discussed the need to get sewer lines out to the Evans Road property. The Port of Clarkston hopes to turn it into an industrial park.

Brown said they will be looking into talking with county P.U.D. about the expansion. He said it is possible that the Public Utilities District will manage the sewer system.
