NEZPERCE - A year's worth of pent up aggression was unleashed at the Lewis County Fair over the weekend.

It was the 10th annual Nezperce Lion's Club Combine Demolition Derby and as promised it was bigger, faster and full of reckless drivers.

Around 2500 fans watched combines, as they took to the arena and made aggressive moves against their opponents.

Each heat lasted for 15 minutes, with judges determining who went onto a final 20-minute heat. First place and $2,000 went to Nezperce resident and newlywed Kerry Miller.

Second place and $1300 went to Ron Reiner of Ferdinand. Third place and $700 was awarded to Jeremy Southern of Gifford. Best in Show and $350 went to Mike Jensen of Nezperce.
