BURLEY (AP) — The Cassia County sheriff's office says a 1-year-old girl from Burley is dead from injuries sustained when she was accidentally run over.

Libertee Dawn Lee died Monday of her injuries. According to the sheriff's report, a 15-year-old neighbor was helping the child's mother with some yard work when she backed the mother's car out of the garage to wash it on the grass. She then saw the baby lying in the driveway.

The child's mother, 28-year-old Angela Dawn Woodbury, called emergency workers and Lee was taken by ambulance to Cassia Regional Medical Center for treatment.
