RIRIE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in eastern Idaho say they have recovered from the Ririe Reservoir the body of a man missing for several days.

The Bonneville County Sheriff Department used sonar and dive teams Sunday to retrieve the body of 76-year-old Ike Ellis, of Idaho Falls.

Deputies were called to the reservoir Thursday after Ellis' boat was discovered empty and a cowboy hat floating in the water nearby.

Authorities believe Ellis was alone at the time of the accident.
