Lewis-Clark Sailing hosts 38th Tribune Cup Regatta

CHIEF TIMOTHY PARK, WA - The waters near Chief Timothy Park are going to be busy with sail boats this weekend.

Local sailors and captains are showing off their maritime skills at the 38th annual Tribune Cup Regatta. Lewis-Clark Sailing Association Wet Master Tim Lynch said anyone is welcome to come down and see what sailing is all about.

"After the races, we'll get you on a boat," said Lynch. "If you can come down on Saturday we might even be able to go racing on Sunday. We love to have new people come out, we love to introduce them to the sport and we'd love to have more people in the Valley sailing. Especially kids."

The Regatta takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday, and if you miss the action Saturday you can catch more races on Sunday morning.
