Craigmont man dies in crash

CRAIGMONT – A Craigmont man was killed in a crash on State Highway 64 Tuesday. It happened at around 5:54 p.m. at mile post 27, west of Kamiah.

Idaho State Police says 72-year-old Clyde E. Richards was traveling west in a 2004 Dodge pickup when the truck left the roadway. The pickup rolled several times and came to rest at the bottom of a 400-foot embankment.

ISP says Richards was wearing a seat belt.

The investigation continues.
