How did it get down there?
Sheriff's vehicles are parked above the draw where a truck was found Saturday. By Matt Loveless
LEWISTON - A truck was found in an unlikely place over the weekend.
It was originally reported by a hunter as a possible car accident at about 3:30 p.m Saturday. Nez Perce County Sheriff's deputies quickly discovered that wasn't the case when they found the 2000 Dodge truck on four wheels in a canyon off of Webb Ridge Road. Deputies said it did not have any rollover damage, but that the only access to that point is from the top of the hill. The sheriff's office is calling it a case of a stolen or abandoned vehicle. The investigation is continuing. |
