LEWISTON - An armed robbery has Lewiston Police on the look out. It happened Wednesday night at the 21st Street KFC.
"At about 9:40 yesterday evening, an employee of the Kentucky Fried Chicken was leaving work and was robbed of some personal property in the parking lot," said Lt. Doug Clark of the Lewiston Police Department. The alleged female victim told police she'd just gotten off work and was getting out her keys when a truck pulled up, a man displayed a knife and demanded her purse. "There is lighting in the lot but apparently that didn't deter the suspects," said Clark. Police are looking for the two suspects. "They were both wearing ski masks," said Clark. "The driver was a white male, dark clothing, the other one was a heavy set male, white tee shirt, dark blue jeans." Police are looking for a later model Dodge extended cab pickup truck. It is dark green with a chrome strip down the side. The driver is described as a white male with a dark pullover t-shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes. The passenger is also a white male described as 5'6' and very heavy set. And they both wore black ski masks. If you have any information on these subjects or the vehicle you're asked to call police. |
