Man accused of child rape faces new charges in Asotin County

ASOTIN - 38-year-old Timothy A Kellis, who is facing several related charges in Latah County, will now face child rape charges in Asotin County
According to Asotin County Deputy Prosecutor Joe Jackson, Kellis, a former area teacher, is charged with one count of rape of a child in the second degree, which is a class A felony with a maximum sentence of life in prison. The sexual abuse was alleged to have happened between October first 2003 and August 31, 2005. The alleged victim is a boy between the age of 12 and 14 at the time of the alleged incidents. Kellis is set for trial in September in Latah County. An Asotin County arrest warrant has been issued for when his trial has been completed. |
