Governor recognizes local Shriners

LEWISTON - Governor Otter made a special proclamation Friday.
“Today we got a visit from the governor of the state of Idaho, CL Butch Otter and he presented us with this signed proclamation, proclaiming Calam Shriner week in Idaho, this week," said Bill Hamilton, Potentate with the Calam Shrine. The proclamation was in honor of the Calam Shrine’s 100th anniversary in Idaho. Since the group formed, they have participated in numerous philanthropic causes and helped build the Shrine Hospital in Spokane. |
