Food distribution in Clarkston
CLARKSTON, WA - A Mobile food bank is making a stop in Clarkston Friday to spread produce and perishables.

The Second Harvest Mobile Food Bank has been distributing free food to families in the region for seven years. Tomorrow they will stop in the parking lot of Our Savior's Lutheran Church on 13th Street in Clarkston. The event is open to all families in need of food assistance. The local Asotin-Garfield Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Chapter helped organize the event.

"It's always produce,” said spokesman for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Gary Carson. “Usually potatoes, onions, apples, whatever is in season. And we also have bread products and sometimes milk. We don't know until the food truck gets here."

The event is Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. No documentation or appointment is required.
