LEWISTON, ID - Time has taken its toll on the old wooden structure known as Castle Park and McGhee Elementary needs the public's help replacing the structure.

The elementary school needs to raise $150,000 to build a safe playground. Insurance providers for McGhee Elementary will allow the park that serves not only their students, but also the public to stay open through the end of this school year. So how can you help? A charity raffle will be held at the home and garden show this weekend.

"Its seven themed chairs that have a whole bunch of fun stuff with them that we’re going to raffle off,” said Community Liaison Beeg Johnson. “There's a gardening chair, there's a sports chair, there's a camping chair, or there's a movie chair."

Raffle tickets are $5 apiece or three for $15. The design of the new park is already picked out, however so far they've only raised $22,000.
