Alcohol may have been a factor in car crash
LEWISTON, ID - Two people are recovering from their injuries following a single car crash Monday night.

Lewiston police and firefighters responded to the 1100 block of Linden Avenue for the crash around ten o'clock.

The car was driven by 26-year old Hunter Pearson of Lewiston.

It left the roadway and hit a fire hydrant and then a utility pole.

Both Pearson and his passenger were taken to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

A portion of Linden Avenue was closed while investigators processed the scene.

The two were not wearing seatbelts and officers determined that alcohol may have been a factor.

This accident is still being investigated.
