Groundbreaking for new SJRMC building
LEWISTON, ID - The ground is broken and the construction begins for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC).

The Lewiston hospital is in the beginning stages of a $45-million expansion. The first building they're starting with is a new energy plant. It’ll be the nerve center for the whole hospital, so they can start adding new facilities in the coming years.

"The really big news is that we'll be adding an outpatient facility over the next three, four years to house a new and existing physician’s organization as well as some additional outpatient services," said SJRMC President and CEO Tim Sayler.

After the renovation is complete, Sayler said SJRMC addition will add 60,000 square feet of space to the hospital.
