Groups and soloists from as far a Sitka, Alaska and as close as Moscow Junior High took part in a round of competition.
More than 75 youth performances were scheduled Wednesday, followed by hundreds over the following three days, with colleges and high schools facing the judges.
The lineup includes a number of UI, WSU, and LCSC groups and soloists, many more from the surrounding area, as well as one ensemble group from Boston College.
