Public Works Director Jim Bridges told commissioners Monday morning he put in a request for federal funding for the Clarkston project. He predicts it'll cost roughly $790,000.
"Of that $790,000 the county is required to come up with $115,300, which will leave $674,700 through federal funds to complete the project," said Bridges.
The road currently has cracks and the sidewalk ramps don't meet ADA standards. Construction on this project will start in November.
