Cable sentenced for lewd conduct with minor
LEWISTON, ID - A Clarkston man was sentenced to five years in prison Thursday after he pleaded guilty to one count of lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16.

According to court documents, 39-year-old Christopher Cable was charged for several inappropriate incidents that occurred from 2007 to 2010. Cable pleaded guilty to one of the five counts in April as part of a Rule 11 Agreement which was approved in 2nd District Court by Judge Carl Kerrick.

"You're in a position that's difficult for all concerned,"said Kerrick. "That's going to be true for some time in the future. This is the kind of offense that typically carries that kind of impact."

Cable's prison sentence of no less than two years will be suspended for a five year period while Cable remains on probation. While on probation Cable must serve 30 days of local incarceration. He will also be required to register as sex offender in the State of Idaho.
