Jennifer Lanpheir.
Lanpheir said her life has been threatened after her fiance Levi Brett was charged with a marijuana grow operation and possession of two firearms. Lanpheir said Brett did not break the Washington State Grow Law. There were two medical marijuana cards to vouch for what she claims to be the 27 plants found at the grow operation. Each card allows each holder to grow 15 plants.
"He didn't do anything wrong," said Lanpheir. "That's what makes me so mad. The police are acting like he is guilty, he is guilty, he is guilty. But what happened to innocent until proven guilty? And, Asotin County doesn't care about that."
Lanpheir shared her side of the story contesting that Levi is wrongly being prosecuted. Authorities claim there were 33 plants, three over the legal limit for the two cards.
