ASOTIN - A Clarkston man charged with three counts of child rape in the first degree has pleaded not guilty in Asotin County Superior Court..

Monday, 71-year-old Mario Robago pleaded to the charges before Judge John Henry.

Robago was arrested in May on the charges and has been held in the Asotin County Jail on a $1 million bond. The alleged incidents happened with a female child under the age of 12.

A trial date will be set at his next hearing on July 26th. Robago faces up to life in prison if convicted.
