LEWISTON - The first annual Beautiful Downtown Lewiston St. Patrick's Day Festival was held Saturday.

Downtown Lewiston was the place to be from noon to three, as hundreds celebrated St. Paddy's Day with music, food and games. And McSlinky the Clown was decked out in green and sharing his balloon magic with kids.

There were dancers and bagpipes and green beer galore. Next year, coordinators say it should be even bigger and better.

The festivities ended with a pub crawl, which included a ride home for anyone who needed one.
