CLARKSTON - Asotin County has a new Medical Program Director.

In a press release from the Asotin County EMS and Trauma Council, it was announced that Dr. Frank Reiser of Moscow has been appointed as the new director.

All EMT's must work under the supervision of a doctor. The last director, Dr Jay Hunter, resigned in September but had been staying on until a new director was found.

County officials say Dr. Reiser has an extensive background in emergency medicine. Before living in Moscow, he was responsible for creating an emergency medical program for the Tucson Police Department.
