Airport Authority Board has two new members
Airport authority board Interviews being conducted by the Lewiston city council. By Anne HardingLEWISTON - New members of the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport authority board were selected by the city council after interviews were conducted last week. John Scott and Kent Simmons were chosen for the board. City councilors asked applicants questions about time management and their vision for economic growth at the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport. Each candidate's interview took about 20 minutes. Time was allotted on the end of the agenda for councilors to vote for their two appointments to the board. The results should be available Friday. Scott and Simmons will join county appointees Skip Heard and Richard Finley. The four of them will elect a fifth member. Then the group of five will be in charge of overseeing the airport. The hope is to have the board ready by April 1. Most Popular |
