KOOSKIA - Two people were injured in a crash Sunday on U.S. 12 east of Lowell.

Idaho State Police says Jessica Martin, 26, of Elk City was headed west in a Toyota 4 Runner around 12:30 p.m. when she lost control due to the icy roadway. Her car hit an eastbound Chevy Silverado driven by Kevin Todd, 45, of Missoula. Both he and his passenger, Jodi Todd, 44, were injured.

Back Country Medics attempted to fly Jodi Todd to a hospital in Missoula, but weather prevented that. Instead she was flown to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

Kevin Todd was transported to Syringa Hospital in Grangeville. Martin was not injured in the crash. All those involved were wearing seat belts.

The highway was blocked for over two hours.
