ASOTIN - A Clarkston woman has had her nursing license suspended by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission and the Washington State Department of Health.
Lisa Nixon pleaded guilty in November in Asotin County Superior Court to possession of methamphetamine, possession of Psilicybin and possession of oxycodone. She was sentenced to 240 hours of community service under the first-time offender rule and two years of probation. According to the state, allegations said she took narcotics from patients at the facility where she worked in Colfax. Nixon cannot work as a registered nurse until the charges are resolved. The charges said law enforcement officers found narcotics from the facility, along with methamphetamine, in a search of Nixon's home and vehicle. Nixon may answer the charges and ask for a hearing with the state. |
