LEWISTON – It was a wet Black Friday, but a few drops of rain weren’t enough to stop the long lines at local stores.

Walmart associates in Clarkston said the check-out lines were full before deals started, as the new supercenter was open overnight. Employees said doorbusters, who didn't have to bust down a door today, had carts full goodies waiting for the clock to strike 5:00 a.m.

Walmart employees said pre-Black Friday rehearsals made for a smooth morning.

Not so lucky for those looking for electronics at Hastings. A line of rain-soaked people stretched to the end of the complex before doors opened at 8 a.m., some looking for a discounted version of last year's new video game systems.
