Teen going to NICI for role in robbery
Kaleb Farmer in court Wednesday. By Matt Loveless
LEWISTON - A teenager will spend at least six months in prison for his involvement in a summer robbery.
19-year-old Kaleb Farmer pleaded guilty to Aiding and Abetting Robbery in September, and Wednesday was sentenced to three to seven years in prison. Farmer and 17-year-old Levi Linton attempted to rob two teenage females at gunpoint near St. Joe’s. As part of a plea agreement, District Judge Jeff Brudie will retain jurisdiction over Farmer, meaning his sentence will be reviewed following a six-month program at the North Idaho Correctional Institution in Cottonwood. Farmer, who police say is a transient, is expected to be back in a Nez Perce County courtroom in May to review his sentence. |
