Burned-out car still a mystery

ASOTIN - The investigation continues, after a car reported stolen in Spokane was found in Asotin County.

The Asotin County Sheriff's Office said a Snake River Road resident called in a possible collision near Couse Creek after hearing a loud noise on Sunday night.

When a deputy got on scene he found a 2000 Honda Accord fully engulfed in flames and no one around. The Asotin County Fire District put out of the blaze.

Authorities then learned the car had been reported stolen out of Spokane. The Asotin Co. Sheriff's Office is investigating.
