WEIPPPE – As the town of Weippe mourns the loss of a little girl in a deadly trailer fire, it is also pulling together to help the family.

The Weippe Fire Department is pitching to help the family of three-year-old Feather Marie Proctor, who died in the fire.

Firefighters are collecting food, clothing, furniture and other household items. On Saturday November 14 they are holding a biscuits and gravy feed at the Weippe Community Hall starting at 9:00 a.m. The breakfast is a benefit for the Proctor-Robles family and donations are encouraged.

A fund has been set up to help cover funeral expenses.

The fund is set up at Potlatch Number One Federal Credit Union in Orofino and at White Pine Credit Union in Pierce under the name of the grandfather, David Robles. Anyone interested in making a donation can just provide his name and mention that it is for Feather's fund.
