ASOTIN - A dangerous rock slide on Snake River Road Thursday night causes some travel delays, but fortunately no one was injured.

It happened around 6:30 pm about a mile south of Asotin. Huge boulders came tumbling down off the hillside.

One lane of the road was closed as crews showed up to clean up the mess.

Asotin County Sheriff’s deputies were directing traffic. Deputies said it was fortunate no one was driving by when the giant rocks came down.
