It happened at about 8:15 p.m. on U.S. 95.
Idaho State Police said 75-year-old Gerald Issler of Culdesac pulled out of the casino entrance onto 95 and failed to yield to an oncoming pickup. The northbound truck was driven by 20-year-old Andrew Kovisto from Lowman, Idaho. He hit the passenger side of Issler's car.
Issler was taken to St Joes with minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
