ISP investigates crash involving Latah Co. deputy

DEARY - Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash involving a Latah County deputy.

According to the Latah County Sheriff's Office, the deputy was on patrol at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle at the intersection of State Highway 3 and Texas Ridge Road south of Deary.

The deputy was transported to Gritman Medical Center where he was treated and released.

He's been placed on paid administrative pending the investigation. His name is not being released at this time.
