21-year-old Anthony Cobbs made an initial appearance in Idaho County Magistrate Court Monday. Cobbs was booked on a burglary charge as one of two men accused of breaking into the Stites Grocery Store in the early morning hours of April 24.
During the incident, a man inside the store shot and killed 21-year-old Gabriel Pena Warden, the man whom Cobbs is accused of breaking into the store with.
Cobbs allegedly fled the scene when the shots were fired.
Federal prosecutors have said it's unlikely charges would be filed against the man who shot Pena Warden.
Cobbs is being held in the Idaho County Jail on a $20,000 bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next Tuesday.
