CULDESAC - Three people were injured in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon.

Trooper Travis Height said two teenage brothers, Jacob and Maxton Homer, were returning to Eagle, Idaho from church camp.

According to Height, 19-year-old Jacob Homer fell asleep at the wheel of his 2003 Mazda, causing his southbound car to enter the northbound lane. Clayton Plemmors of Kennewick was in the northbound lane in a 2007 Nissan and tried to swerve into the shoulder, but was unable to avoid a head-on collision.

All three were transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
