MOSCOW – There are plenty of road projects underway in Moscow, impacting local traffic patterns.

ITD is widening a quarter mile stretch of State Highway 8. A center lane is also being added. Traffic will be held up in the work area for 15 minutes at a time starting Monday.

Between Veatch Street and White Place, crews will also be adding a sewer line, manholes, curbs, gutters and sidewalks along the westbound lane.

The city recommends detouring to Palouse River Drive and Mountainview Road during this phase of the project, which is scheduled to be done by Friday.

The $1.6 million dollar project is scheduled to be completed by September.
