MOSCOW - Police have identified the woman killed in a Moscow apartment fire Wednesday morning.

Sarah J. Parks, 28, died when a two-story apartment complex went up in flames on the 900 block of Vandal Drive. That was just before 8:00 a.m.

Firefighters found Parks’ body during a secondary search of the home.

Fire Chief Ed Button said the fire most likely started in the northwest corner of the building, due to damage there,

Moscow Police Lieutenant Paul Kwiatkowski said release of Parks' identity was delayed as authorities notified family in Texas.

Moscow Fire, Police, Latah County Sheriff, and the State Fire Marshall's Office are investigating.
