Politicians in Asotin County are already campaigning for city council seats. Last Friday was the deadline for filling.

ASOTIN - Asotin County political races are heating up with more contested seats.

For Asotin City council seat two is between Keith Delzer and Steve Cowdry. For Seat three Robert Van Pelt will campaign against Greg Fry. In seat five Dave Weakland will run against Joe Appleton.

Over in Clarkston, Larry Baumberger will have some competition for his seat with Monika Lawrence and Amanda Albrecht throwing their hats into the ring. And Terry Beadles will have to beat Serena Martz to keep his seat on the Clarkston city council. The filing deadline was last Friday. This years primary will take place on August 18th.
