Nezperce man dies in farming accident
NEZPERCE - A 64-year-old Nezperce man died in a farming accident Thursday.
According to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, a call came in around 11:20 Thursday morning concerning a man injured in a farming equipment accident in a field on Powerline Road just outside of Nezperce. The victim, Charlie Cole, was transported to Saint Mary's Hospital in Cottonwood where he later died of the injuries. Officials say he was crushed by a flexi coil air drill. Notifications have been made to relatives and close friends. "Nezperce is a very close community and this tragic death hits everyone very hard," said Sheriff Brian Brokop. "Charlie will be missed." |
