New bank going up in Clarkston

CLARKSTON - Crews recently broke ground at the site for Community Bank. It will be located near Tomato Brothers on Bridge Street and is expected to be completed by fall or early winter.

Currently Community Bank has a lending location with three employees who will move to the new building when completed.

Marketing Director Keith Burghartt said the building will be a nice entry into Clarkston. He said their bank, based in Joseph, Oregon, has been growing at a steady pace and they hope to grow with Clarkston as well.

Burghartt said most of their are in towns the size of Clarkston or smaller.
