GRANGEVILLE - An 8-year-old girl was hurt in a crash on State Highway 13 between Grangeville and Harpster .

ISP says it happened last night just after nine Monday night.

ISP says Jacob Elam of Stites was northbound in a Toyota pickup when he slid across the center line and hit a semi head-on. The semi was driven by Clinton Sickles of Grangeville.

Elam had an 8-year-old girl with him. She was injured and transported to Syringa Hospital in Grangeville.

Neither Elam or Sickles were injured. Elam was cited for going left of center and not wearing a seat belt.
