Potlatch sawmill workers return to jobs
By Matt Loveless
LEWISTON - Almost 600 Potlatch employees were back at work Monday, after a three-week temporary layoff for workers in Lewiston, St. Maries and Post Falls.
Earlier this month, Potlatch announced it was temporarily laying off 220 workers and suspending operations at its Lewiston mill. Monday, those workers were back. Potlatch spokesman Matt Van Vleet said future work stoppages will depend on the market. |
