16-year-old girl dies in crash on 12
KOOSKIA – A 16-year-old girl died Sunday in a single-vehicle crash just before 1 p.m. on U.S. 12 near Kooskia.
Idaho State Police says Brianna M. Broncheau of Stites was killed when the car she was a front-seat passenger in sideswiped a tree at mile post 76 east of Kooskia. She died at the scene. The 1998 Pontiac Grand Am was driven by Lyndsey M. Doll, 15, of Stites. ISP says Doll was westbound when she lost control and hit the tree. She was ejected from the vehicle. Doll and a second passenger, Michael T. Mozingo, 16, were injured and transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital. ISP said none of those involved was wearing a seat belt. The investigation is continuing. |
